For everyone, not only in the United States but around the world, COVID-19 has touched their lives in some form or fashion. Whether it's as simple as adjusting daily routines or experiencing the loss of a friend or loved one, we have all navigated this together, growing and adapting in ways we never imagined.
That's where Bourbon With Friends comes in. During the early days of the pandemic, life felt stagnant. With little to do beyond the excitement of finding essentials like toilet paper, many people sought new ways to connect. After a few weeks of isolation, the original hosts decided to break the monotony with a simple plan: "Steaks, Bourbon, Firepit." That first night was filled with laughter, good food, cigars, and, of course, bourbon—and that's where the idea began.
As lockdowns eased and gatherings became more frequent, the original small circle expanded. Encouraged by friends, the decision to start a podcast quickly followed, leading to an incredible journey. With time, the lineup evolved to meet the changing demands of life and the growing podcast.
Now, the podcast is in the capable hands of hosts Bryan Dewar, Adriane Tavassol, and Martin Graham, each bringing their unique perspective and passion to the show. Bryan's deep knowledge of bourbon, Adriane's engaging insights, and Martin's expertise have helped take the podcast to new heights.
The heart of Bourbon With Friends remains unchanged. We believe that bourbon is for everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, or gender. It's the great equalizer, meant to be shared—not hoarded on a shelf collecting dust. We stand against overpriced bottles and celebrate the spirit's rich history. After all, bourbon's roots trace back to farmers making use of their surplus corn, with figures like George Washington himself among the earliest distillers in the nation. It doesn’t get much more American than that!
